  Instant Hex

How it Works - Press the Macro without any modifier for your normal Hex or hold down shift to casts Ancestral Swiftness for a instant Hex.

  Chain Lightning

How it Works - This will give you a instant Chain Lightning every time Ancestral is off cooldown. I use this all the time when I’m raiding.

  Ghost Wolf

How it Works – This will let you spam Ghost Wolf without accidentally taking you outta form

  Quick Burst

How it Works – Uses all of your big cooldowns for some quick dps. If one of your trinkets is for something other than damage, just take out the /13 or /14 lines.

  Spirit Wolves

How it Works - Press the Macro one for Feral Spirit, then a second time for Spirit Walk. Really easy way to save on some keybindings, but it sucks that we need a Macro for this now.

  Quick Enchants

How it Works - Use the above modifiers when applying all of your weapon enchants. After awhile you will of got used to using the Macro, so remembering the modifiers won’t be a problem.

  Purge/Cleanse Spirit

How it Works - Hold shift to Purge focused target. Hold alt to Cleanse yourself. If no modifier is used, you will Purge current enemy target or Cleanse current friendly target.

  Stormstrike

How it Works - This will cast Stormstrike whenever it’s off cooldown. If it’s on cooldown, you will just auto attack. Now you can just spam Stormstrike. Plus it saves you a slot on your actionbar. Of course that’s if you still have auto attack on your actionbar.

  Healing Mouseovers

How it Works - This is just a example of how to make a mouseover for your main healing abilities. Just replace Chain Heal with whatever spell you want. Imo once you get used to it, it’s the easiest way to heal for raiding.

  Ancestral Swiftness

How it Works - This is exactly like the last one, but makes the ability a instant cast. I would just get a feel of what spells you’re using most with Ancestral Swiftness, then start making Macros like this for them.

  Focused Wind Shear

How it Works – This stops whatever you’re casting and Wind Shears your focused target. If you have nobody on focus, it interupts your current target. Really great Macro for Arena.

  Shaman Shields

How it Works - Press the Macro normally for a Earth Shield or hold down alt for Water Shield, and shift for Lightning Shield. I normally use this for PvP, but I could see this being very helpful while raiding.

Like I promised we will briefly go over how to make a Shaman Macro. This will be a complete guide so you can come back here for future reference.

• After you log-in you can hit  /Macro or just open up your Main Menu and click the Macro Window.

• Next you will see YourName Macros, and General Macros. The tab marked General is for every character you have, and the tab marked Youname  is if you want it for a certain character. So if you’re making a certain Shaman Pvp Macro your going to click the Yourname tab.

• After you click those you should see a big grid of boxes, and under the boxes is a single box which shows your currently selected Macro. Below that is the edit box which you will use to select the actually Macro.

• Now we actually start making your Shaman Macro. First click the new tab. That will bring up a new window where you can choose whatever icon you want and put a name for it.

Note: if you hit the ? it will automatically pick the spell name icon.

• Now if you notice your Macro will be in the box grid. Which you can now start typing script into.

• Lastly after making the Macro for your Shaman you just drag it out then place it on your action bar.

If you don’t know anything about script I will got over that in another post on Shaman Macros. There are tons of different variations you can make for different spells to. Just to give you some ideals here are a few good ones to try out Shaman Rotation Macro, Shaman Totem Macro, Shaman Healing Macro, and even some really useful Shaman Pvp Macros.

Like I said before those are just a few there are tons of different ones. In the next couple of days I will post some of the ones I like the most so everyone can start using them right away.

Welcome to Shaman Macros. I want to first thank everyone for pushing me to make this site. Many of my friends already know how much I love World of Warcraft and enjoy using all my Macros for my Shaman. I don’t want to bore you too much talking about myself so if you want to know more info on me please visit the About Me section.

The general theme of Shaman Macros will be sharing with everybody what I think are some of the most Useful Shaman Macros out there are. I will try to keep everyone up to date on all the best ones there as soon as every new WoW patch comes out and of course expansions. So we will start with patch 4.3. Macros for Shamans.
